In the world of celebrity perfumes its not all about the juice. Not surprisingly, the importance of packaging and promotional material is huge. I've found that many celebrity perfume lines have a dedicated website which can be interactive and fun.
Harajuku Lovers
The Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers fragrance is presented in the cutest Japanese figurine bottles. There are 5 perfumes characters in the collection - Baby, Music, Love, Lil' Angel and G. If you collect kimmidolls you won't be able to resist these adorable bottles.
The Harajuku Lovers website is also a lot of fun. When you visit the website, choose the option to Create Own Style and you are presented with a cute Japanese character. Change the colour and style of her hair, fashion and shoes. Give your style a name and then save it to the Wicked Style Gallery where others can choose to love your style. I named mine Kitty, isn't she gorgeous?
The Harjuku Lovers Website is worth a look and great for procrastinating but it does take a little while to load.
Lollipop Bling
Another fun celebrity perfume website is for Mariah Carey's Lollipop Bling fragrance collection. On this website there is a 3D Experience where you use your webcam to see yourself in lollipop bling world. You can send a CandyGram to a friend and play a game where you collect bling from a candy belt. The Lollipop Bling website is another fantastic time waster.
Reb'l Fleur
The Reb'l Fleur fragrance by Rihanna doesn't have the sugary appeal of Lollipop Bling and Harajuku Lovers. It plays a dramatic advertisement with a message of bad versus good. The interactive video commercial starts in the middle which is the crossover from good to bad. It has a 'bad' ending but unlike real life you can go back.
The Reb'l Fleur website for Rihanna's perfume - 'Bad feels so good' opposing 'Good feels so bad'.
